We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in PLC programming, WCS / WMS integration, and warehouse automation technologies . This role supports automation projects from design through commissioning in highly regulated, fast-paced environments.
Schedule & Travel
- Core Hours : Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
- Overtime : Required as project ramps up (nights, weekends), ~60–80 hrs / week
- Travel : 2–3 weeks per quarter
- Q1 2026 : Weekly hours expected to exceed 40 hrs
Experience Required
5–7 years of relevant automation / controls engineering experienceStrong troubleshooting ability and ability to read / understand complex automation codeTechnical Skills
PLC Programming
Expertise in programming & debugging PLCs(e.g., Siemens S7-1500 strongly preferredExperience commissioning automation in live warehouse or industrial environmentsWCS (Warehouse Control Systems)
Working knowledge of commercial or custom WCS platformsDeep understanding of how WCS integrates WMS ? WCS ? PLC / automation layersAbility to analyze routing delays, system bottlenecks, and WCS / WMS workflow issuesExperience debugging WMS task execution routing down to equipment levelWMS / EWM
Experience mapping warehouse tasks from WMS / EWM into real-time equipment commandsIntegration experience with robotics, AS / RS, sorters, palletizers, conveyors, etc.AMR Integration
Skilled in integrating Autonomous Mobile Robots into warehouse automation systemsIT & Cybersecurity
Experience integrating automation systems with IT infrastructure(Active Directory, cybersecurity best practices, networks)Regulated Industries (Pharma / GxP)
Understanding of GxP environments and Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP)Role Purpose

Required (one of the following) :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldAssociate degree + 5 years engineering experienceHigh School / GED + 7 years engineering experienceAdditional Preferred Skills
