About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Physician Assistant for a 182-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio. This opportunity begins on Nov 3, 2025, and features night shifts from 6 : 30pm to 6 : 30am in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The schedule is flexible, offering options such as 7 on / 7 off or stretches of dates each month. Candidates must have at least three years of experience in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
Serve as the sole in-house provider during SICU night shiftsManage critically ill surgical patients, including assessment, stabilization, and ongoing careCoordinate with the attending physician who is on call 24 / 7 via phone and available to come in if necessaryRespond to emergencies and provide advanced trauma care as neededDocument all patient encounters and care activities accuratelyParticipate in patient handoffs and multidisciplinary rounds as requiredAdditional Information
Minimum 3 years of experience in a critical care setting requiredActive Ohio license requiredAdvanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification requiredStart date may be flexible based on credentialing processBenefits
