As an Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Rover Patrol in Kailua-Kona, HI, you'll serve on the front line of aviation securityensuring public safety, safeguarding airport facilities, and upholding the spirit of aloha through professional service. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to support a positive atmosphere. This position requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your responsibilities. You will also provide exceptional customer service and communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Position Type : Part Time - Morning

Pay Rate : $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Time : Mon 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Each law enforcement officer will possess the following minimum qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS) : To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria :

• 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)
• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)
• Valid Driver's License
• Law Enforcement Officer License
• 22+ years of age

Basic Qualifications : The basic qualifications listed below are representative of the relevant knowledge, skills, and / or experience required in order to be hired. These are requirements that we have determined are the minimum a candidate must have in order to be successful in this role.

Knowledge and Skills Required : Must be able to supervise contractor's personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.
