Responsibilities Position is in an acute care hospital working in the Rad / CT department Duties include performing both CT and X-ray exams, including in the ED, portable imaging on patient floors, CCU, OR, and PACU as needed Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts; shifts start at either 8pm or 9pm on weekdays and 6pm–6am on weekends Night techs work a 7 nights on, 7 nights off schedule, Wednesday through Tuesday Staff will work independently after orientation Epic EMR and XIM software are used in the department Orientation is provided with a preceptor until both the candidate and trainer are comfortable Night technologists are expected to function independently after orientation Scrubs are ceil blue Candidates with previous employment at the facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration Local candidates within 80 miles may be accepted All staff must badge in and out when onsite Requirements A minimum of 2 years recent experience in both CT and X-ray is required Active ARRT certification and current BLS (AHA) are required Proficiency with Epic EMR and XIM software is required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-613794.
