About the Role
The Director of Human Resources will serve as a strategic leader and trusted advisor to the executive team, overseeing all aspects of the HR function. This role is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies that support the organization's long-term goals, foster a positive and inclusive culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership : Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness and workforce planning.
Talent Management : Lead initiatives around recruitment, retention, performance management, and succession planning to build and sustain a high-performing workforce.
Employee Relations : Serve as a resource and advocate for employees, ensuring fair practices, resolving conflicts, and promoting engagement and satisfaction.
Culture & DEI : Champion organizational values, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and foster an environment of respect, collaboration, and growth.
Compensation & Benefits : Oversee the design, implementation, and management of competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and recognition initiatives.
Policy & Compliance : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, while developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
HR Operations : Manage HR systems, data reporting, and metrics to drive evidence-based decision-making.
Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to ensure excellence in service delivery and professional growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred).
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated success in strategic HR planning, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record of driving cultural transformation and building inclusive workplaces.
