Seattle Healthcare Job Details

Location : Seattle, WA 98122 (Seattle healthcare jobs)

Setting : Inpatient, Critical Care Cardiology

Schedule : 1 week on, 3 weeks off (Monday 7AM – Monday 7AM)

Shift Duration : 12-hour shifts (7AM–7PM) with night call (7PM–7AM)

Patient Encounters : 10–12 per shift

Start Date : November 17, 2025

Assignment Type : Locum tenens, ongoing long-term

Trauma Level : Level 1

Estimated Weekly Salary : $9,200 - $9,850

Expected Hours Per Week : 36

Physician Qualifications

Board Certification in Cardiology or Critical Care Cardiology (required)

Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure or Critical Care Cardiology

Active Washington state medical license or eligibility to obtain (Washington physician jobs)

Minimum 1 year of experience in advanced heart failure or critical care cardiology

ACLS and BLS certifications (required)

Proven expertise in ECMO, VV and VA Impella, and Durable LVADs

Strong experience in critical care and shock program management

Cardiology Physician Responsibilities

Serve as primary attending for ECMO and LVAD patients

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver advanced cardiac care

Participate in the hospital's shock program

Manage 10–12 patient encounters per shift in a high-acuity inpatient setting

Provide night call coverage as scheduled

Ensure best practices in critical care cardiology and patient safety
