Responsibilities Work on a 32-bed oncology telemetry unit in a hospital setting Patient population includes adults with medical oncology, palliative, and end-of-life care needs Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy and care for patients potentially including those with COVID-19 Requires competency in telemetry monitoring Uses Epic for charting; Epic experience required Night shifts (3x12 hours, 7p-7a) with every other weekend required Orientation will likely occur on day shift No call requirements; float to other med / surg units as needed Holiday coverage required as needed May provide palliative and end-of-life care alongside chemotherapy administration Must complete facility modules prior to start (approximately 5-6 hours) Facility is tobacco and fragrance free RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a lower rate Pairs are allowed but matched schedules are not guaranteed Requirements Active PA or compact RN license with no license hits ONS / ONCC Advanced Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required Chemo certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) required (AHA or ARC accepted only) Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience Competency in telemetry required Epic EMR experience required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-638352.
