Sr. Controls Engineer IV

Shift : 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri

Duration : 3 months with the possibility to extend to 6 months.

This Automation Engineer roles for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for technical contributions focusing on state of the art and innovative automation solutions including equipment development, controls, and design through implementation for global operations.

The primary role for this position would include large scale automated equipment related to filling, capping, labeling, inspection, and advanced material handling functionality.

Responsibilities

• Partner with our Beckman Automation Engineering team during installation & commissioning of highly automated equipment in our Hebron KY manufacturing facility.
• Provide technical expertise to our technical operations and validation teams during characterization and validation activities.
• Provide software & automation technical support in the areas of PLC controls, HMI's, vision systems, servo control and overall equipment automation.
• Work with contracted equipment suppliers on site and remotely to debug and make software and / or configuration improvements where necessary.
• Become on-site subject matter expert (SME) for functional setup and operation of commissioned equipment.
• Provide technical training and guidance to operators when required.
