Job Overview : Join our dedicated team as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist Specialist, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of children facing injuries, diseases, and disabilities. In this full-time position, you will work four 10-hour shifts weekly in our outpatient unit, with opportunities to provide weekend and holiday care in our inpatient unit. This is a unique chance to deliver comprehensive care across various settings, making a significant impact on the well-being of young patients.

- Supervise Care Delivery : Oversee all aspects of patient care and education, including the supervision of assistants, aides, and office staff to uphold high-quality standards.

- Participate in Quality Improvement : Actively engage in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes and the overall patient experience.

Qualifications :
Valid Occupational Therapist license in the applicable states.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.Proficient in basic computer skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Experience working with the pediatric population.Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.Physical Requirements :
Ability to see and read patient information and labeling, assess needs, and operate monitoring equipment.Frequent verbal communication with patients and team members, especially in time-sensitive situations.Manual dexterity to handle delicate equipment and frequent computer use for documentation.Ability to lift and transfer patients, and retrieve supplies and equipment, which may include heavy items.Willingness to move within crowded environments and assist with patient transportation.Potential to maintain a stationary position for extended periods.Work Location : Primary Children's at Lehi
Scheduled Weekly Hours : 40
