Pediatric Occupational Therapist Specialist

Job Overview : Join our dedicated team as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist Specialist, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of children facing injuries, diseases, and disabilities. In this full-time position, you will work four 10-hour shifts weekly in our outpatient unit, with opportunities to provide weekend and holiday care in our inpatient unit. This is a unique chance to deliver comprehensive care across various settings, making a significant impact on the well-being of young patients.

• Document Accurately : Maintain thorough and timely patient records while adhering to billing regulations and facility policies.
• Enhance Communication : Foster effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure accessibility to rehabilitation services.
• Supervise Care Delivery : Oversee all aspects of patient care and education, including the supervision of assistants, aides, and office staff to uphold high-quality standards.
• Engage in Continuous Learning : Participate in ongoing education opportunities to stay current with licensure requirements and enhance your professional skills.
• Participate in Quality Improvement : Actively engage in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes and the overall patient experience.
• Contribute to Team Efforts : Join interdisciplinary meetings, staff conferences, and workgroups to collaborate effectively with leadership and team members.
