About The Position

Job Summary (Pathologist Assistant) : Saranac Lake, NY

  • Full-time position (40 hours / week), Monday-Friday, 7 : 30am 4 : 00pm
  • Work location within a 75-mile radius (urgent need)
  • Requires Bachelor s degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant program
  • Must have valid NYS Pathologist Assistant license
  • Acceptable additional NYS licenses : HT / HTL or MLT / MT
  • Minimum one year experience as a Pathologist Assistant
  • Essential experience in :
  • Surgical Pathology
  • Histology
  • Cytology
  • General Pathology
  • Autopsy Pathology
  • Responsible for assisting pathologists in gross examination, preparation, and processing of tissue specimens
  • Ensures accurate documentation and compliance with laboratory protocols
  • Collaborates with medical and laboratory staff to support diagnostic processes
