North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will audit, verify, and maintain employee payroll data, processes hourly and salaried payroll in computerized payroll system, and provide support for employees regarding payroll issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities

• Processes hourly and salary payroll in SAP, and prepares employee paychecks.
• Reviews, verifies, and make appropriate changes and / or corrections to employee data records from time reports and keyed employee information prior to processing payroll.
• Processes and distributes manual (off-cycle) checks, including corrected paychecks, and bonus and award payments.
• Ensures compliance of time recording and payment policies.
• Addresses employee questions and concerns, and coordinates problem resolutions.
• Prepares and distributes standard / required reports, as well as ad hoc queries / reports, as needed.
• Assists with the preparation, verification, and distribution of W-2's.
• Performs testing and verification of configuration and data table changes to the payroll system.
• Maintains complete and accurate confidential employee payroll files.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Salary Range : $48,000 - $58,000

Requirements

Your Background

Meets one of the following education and experience requirement :

Payroll experience using SAP HR / Payroll System is preferred.
