SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER

QTEC Aerospace is seeking SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEERS to join our team of professionals in Huntsville, AL. The qualified applicants will become part of a team of professionals representing both industry and government. The successful candidates will be detail oriented, have a proven track record and a positive work ethic.

Job Summary

QTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidates will function as integral members of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs. The selected engineers will support one of the program cross-functional teams, focusing on development and expansion of the suite of automated tests executed within the software development CI / CD pipelines during software development and upgrades.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following :

• Participate in the development and expansion automated tests executed within the software development CI / CD pipelines during development and upgrades
• Actively participate in agile planning and execution of activities
• Some mentoring of less experienced team members

Minimum Education and Experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Implementation of mathematically intensive algorithms, messaging and external interfaces, user interface development, simulation of MDS systems, planning tool development

Security Clearance

Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
