The Pre-validation Engineering Change Controller plays a key role in the engineering change process and acts as a bridge between Engineering and Operations. They serve as Chair of the Manufacturing Change Board, coordinate engineering change execution within operations and communicate changes once approved.

Responsibilities :

  • Chair the Manufacturing Change Board
  • Understand the impact each engineering changes may have on various groups within Operations with whom the change must be communicated and coordinated
  • Engage with Manufacturing Operations, Global Supply Chain, and assembly sites to gather commitments for engineering change execution
  • Create and present monthly reports to leadership, including the status of engineering changes
  • Manage standard work / policies / procedures / KPIs
  • Ensure policies, procedures and standard work are followed
  • Collaborate across functional areas to manage change and implement new processes

Qualifications you must have :

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience in Operations or Supply Chain; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract.
  • Qualifications we prefer :

  • Understanding of supply chain and MRP processes
  • Knowledge and familiarity with SAP System transactions
  • Understanding of bills of material and configuration management
  • Experience reading technical drawings / blueprints
  • Knowledge and familiarity with TeamCenter
  • Proficient knowledge of product change incorporation processes
  • APICS / ASCM certification
  • Raytheon Six Sigma, ACE, or CORE advanced certification
  • Experience with MS SharePoint site administration
  • This role is : Hybrid : Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
