CSML continually seeks subject matter experts to join our cadre of adjunct faculty. The following are the duties, responsibilities, skills and qualifications that Alliant requires from applicants for an Adjunct professor position :
Pedagogical & Academic Skills :
Facilitating Classroom and Distance / Distributed LearningCourse and syllabus preparationClass curriculum coordination and planningAssessment and evaluation of learnersMentoring and advising studentsHolding office hours and meeting with studentsResearch / scholarship mentoring and supervision, particularly of MS theses, STEM projects, and PhD, EdD, DBA dissertationsSkills :

Expertise in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive modelingAdvanced knowledge of information systems, data management, and enterprise architectureExpertise in one or more of the following : cybersecurity, including network security, risk assessment, network engineering, CRM / ERP, compliance frameworksProficiency in database systems, SQL, and modern data warehousing conceptsStrong understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)Knowledge of software engineering principles and system development life cycle (SDLC)Familiarity with emerging technologies : AI / ML, blockchain, IoT, big data analyticsCompetence in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, R, or equivalent)Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, RStudio, SAS)Understanding of IT governance, compliance, and digital transformation strategiesKnowledge of networking protocols, architectures, and security measuresMinimum Requirements :
Education : Master's, Doctoral or other terminal degrees from an accredited college or university, depending upon the needs of the course being taught.Experience : 5 years' appropriate industry experience in the areas(s) of specialization and expertise required
