Job descriptionDatabase Design Principles and Technologies Information Systems Technology and Infrastructure Management Essentials of Computational Science Using Python Data Analytics for Decision Making Management of Information Security Enterprise Systems Analysis and Project Management Technology Tools for Managerial Decision Making Advanced Programming with Python Cybersecurity Technology Cloud Computing Concepts, Tools, and Applications Facilitating Classroom and Distance / Distributed Learning Course and syllabus preparation Class curriculum coordination and planning Assessment and evaluation of learners Mentoring and advising students Holding office hours and meeting with students Research / scholarship mentoring and supervision, particularly of MS theses, STEM projects, and PhD, EdD, DBA dissertations Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. The ability to work independently and be self-motivated. High level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to solve problems. The ability to explain complex requirements in clear and concise terms The ability to be flexible with workflow to meet the needs of the department and students and to manage multiple tasks by required deadlines The drive to encourage, direct, hold accountable and guide candidates toward task completion. Must demonstrate the ability to work as an effective team member and develop trusting relationships with students and Alliant employees, as well as the Registrar's Office and various academic departments. Culturally competent and ability to communicate and interact effectively with diverse people. Highly motivated, focused and results oriented. Ability to exercise discretion and tact in all interpersonal interactions, and to maintain confidentiality. Collaboration and partnering with other university stakeholders to support candidate success. Ability to make administrative / procedural decisions and judgments Expertise in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive modeling Advanced knowledge of information systems, data management, and enterprise architecture Expertise in one or more of the following : cybersecurity, including network security, risk assessment, network engineering, CRM / ERP, compliance frameworks Proficiency in database systems, SQL, and modern data warehousing concepts Strong understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of software engineering principles and system development life cycle (SDLC) Familiarity with emerging technologies : AI / ML, blockchain, IoT, big data analytics Competence in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, R, or equivalent) Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, RStudio, SAS) Understanding of IT governance, compliance, and digital transformation strategies Knowledge of networking protocols, architectures, and security measures Education : Master's, Doctoral or other terminal degrees from an accredited college or university, depending upon the needs of the course being taught. Experience : 5 years' appropriate industry experience in the areas(s) of specialization and expertise required

CSML is seeking qualified part-time instructors to teach in our STEM MSIST Master Science Information Systems Technology courses in our LA campus. Specifically, we are looking for candidates who can teach the following courses :
