Location : Akron, OH

Schedule : Monday – Friday | Weekends as needed

Pay : From $19.00 per hour | Full-Time

Summary

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations by following all food safety guidelines and ensuring smooth inventory flow. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, transferring, storing, and maintaining accurate inventory while keeping a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

Prepare and package materials for shipment in compliance with quality standards.

Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments; unload delivery trucks and label inventory.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products safely.

Maintain accurate records through inventory and logistics software programs.

Conduct cycle counts and use barcode scanners to track material movement.

Identify, record, and report any damaged, short, or compromised merchandise.

Ensure materials are properly stacked and stored by size, shape, and type.

Maintain cleanliness across work areas, shelving, docks, and computer stations.

Collaborate with team members across departments with safety and efficiency as top priorities.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or GED required.

1+ year of warehouse experience preferred (shipping, receiving, or cycle counts).

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Working knowledge of warehouse safety standards.

Skilled in operating forklifts and material handling equipment.

Computer proficiency with data entry, WMS, and inventory software.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or move for extended periods.

Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
