About the Role We are seeking a Global Payroll Accountant Associate to join our team.  Job Responsibilities :

  • Process payroll and related for exempt and nonexempt employees semi-monthly including salaries, commissions, and payroll deductions Prepare off cycle payroll transactions as needed Oversee approval of time cards by appropriate manager including compliance with approved work schedules Process payments for contractors including according to terms of agreements Assist with onboarding employees onto payroll including training employees Overseeing onboarding of new payroll jurisdictions Updating payroll records as required for changes in employee information such as changes in departmental organization or position, changes in pay, hiring and exits Preparing ledger entries with earnings and deductions and allocations across multiple subsidiaries Auditing invoices for employee benefits for accuracy Assisting in creating and maintaining appropriate payroll policies Ensuring compliance with registration requirements with hiring employees in various states Reviewing and processing employee expense reports Answering payroll inquiries from employees Other projects as assigned Qualifications : A bachelor’s degree in accounting A minimum of three to five year’s experience as a payroll accountant or similar role Proficiency in payroll and accounting software Experience in preparing general ledger entries and processing payments Knowledge of applicable tax laws regarding compensation and benefits Ability to maintain and update employees’ payroll files Excellent organizational and communication skill Why Join Republic?

  • Base salary : $90,000-110,000 annually.
