Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Production Test Air Vehicle Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This leadership role is located in Palmdale, CA.

Responsibilities of the role include :

• Primary responsibility will be a shift supervisor in the flight test organization with 10-14 non-exempt direct reports.
• Planning and managing work priorities and deadlines, overseeing adherence to company / government policies and procedures, and ensuring that quality and safety standards are met.
• Responsible for managing technical risk, cost and reporting regularly to Flight Test leadership team on performance.
• Daily responsibilities include leading a team of test professionals to support aircraft configuration, documentation, and scheduling to meet CTF (Combined Test Force) requirements.
• Supporting annual procedure updates and audits to meet Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) instructions.
• Professional interaction with all levels of company leadership as well as government CTF partners and Government Flight Representative (GFR) / DCMA representatives is required.
• Some travel may be required to support specific programs, ground operations, or special tests.

The selected candidate must be willing to work various shifts depending on the business needs : 4x10 schedule (Mon-Thurs) 1st shift; 4x10 (Mon-Thurs) 2nd shift; 3x10 schedule (Fri, Sat, Sun) 1st shift; 3x10 schedule (Fri, Sat, Sun) 2nd shift.

Salary Range : $118,000.00 - $177,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
