Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

The Data Scientist is responsible for designing and implementing the anomaly detection framework. This role develops statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and risk-ranking rules to identify improper payments, fraudulent vendor activity, and data irregularities. Working iteratively in SAFe sprints, the Data Scientist collaborates with Inspectors General to refine anomaly thresholds and reduce false positives. Using CMMI-3 Measurement and Analysis (MA) processes, this role ensures that detection models are auditable, repeatable, and tied to measurable performance outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS :
