The Assistant Manager of Technology Innovation & Data supports the Director of Technology Innovation & Data in ensuring the efficient operation, security, and reliability of all hotel technology systemsincluding computer networks, servers, guest-facing technologies, and communication systems. This role plays a critical part in providing uninterrupted service across the property by managing system performance, supporting administrative users, and delivering high-quality technical assistance to both colleagues and guests.
As a key partner to operational and administrative departments, the Assistant Manager of Technology Innovation & Data helps maintain Four Seasons' core technology standards, supports the implementation of new systems, and upholds the integrity of the hotel's network and data environment.
Ensure the availability, reliability, and smooth operation of critical hotel systems, including PMS, POS, HSIA, PABX, Call Accounting, and all related platforms.
Provide day-to-day systems administration support, including user account setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Assist in managing server infrastructure, network performance, OS upgrades, system backups, and recovery procedures.
Maintain and promote adherence to Four Seasons IT Core Standards and technology guidelines.
Support desktop systems, operating systems, productivity software, security tools, and system patches.
Deliver high-quality technical support to internal users and guests, including meeting rooms and conference services.
Assist in managing system security, firewall tools, VPN connectivity, and network protection protocols.
Support the coordination and rollout of new technology initiatives, system upgrades, and corporate IT projects.
Assist with vendor relations, third-party support, and maintenance contracts.
Provide 24/7 support for mission-critical systems on a rotating basis.
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other hotel departments to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with department leaders, corporate IT, and Regional IT teams.
Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of IT or Director of Finance.
College education in Information Technology or equivalent experience required.
At least three years of IT experience in a hotel or resort environment.
Strong networking background; MCSE certification or equivalent knowledge preferred.
Experience supporting complex networks, servers, and enterprise applications.
Strong knowledge of systems security, backups, recovery processes, and incident response.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsthe ability to support users at all levels.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Ability to work safely, prudently, and in an organized manner.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus.
