Junior Accountant - Entry-Level Opportunity

A mission-driven academic institution is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a foundation in nonprofit accounting.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions

Support monthly reconciliations and financial reporting

Perform ad hoc accounting tasks as needed by the department

Help maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures

Collaborate with team members to support day-to-day financial operations

Qualifications :

0-1 years of accounting experience (internships or coursework accepted)

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data organization)

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
