• Perform pre-admission evaluations for the appropriateness of services.\n
• Initiates the admission process by educating and informing patients / families of its services.\n
• Obtains informed consent\n
• Provides nursing assessment, initial plan of care, and intervention(s) that optimize patient and family-directed comfort and quality of life.\n\nQualifications : \n
• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program\n
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice\n
• Must possess current CPR Certification\n
• 1 year of Hospice experience, preferred\n
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant\n
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, visitors, agency personnel, and the general public\n
