Summary of Key ResponsibilitiesProject Oversight : Manage the overall flow of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to plans, budgets, and schedules. Subcontractor Management : Select, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors to ensure their work aligns with project requirements and timelines. Safety & Quality Control : Enforce strict safety policies, conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Communication : Serve as the primary on-site liaison, fostering clear communication between clients, architects, project managers, and the field team. Site Logistics : Oversee the setup and maintenance of the job site, including logistics, tools, equipment, and material management. Problem Solving : Proactively identify potential issues, resolve on-site conflicts, and address any unforeseen challenges or emergencies to keep the project on track. Essential DutiesPre-Construction : Work with engineers and architects to review plans and specifications, develop project plans and labor estimates, and prepare the job site for construction. On-Site Management : Lead daily operations, conduct regular site inspections, track progress, and maintain daily logs and reports. Scheduling : Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical path items and coordinating the timely completion of various trades. Budget & Financials : Monitor project costs, ensure materials and equipment are ordered and managed effectively, and make informed financial decisions. Stakeholder Relations : Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and local authorities. Project Closeout : Oversee the punch list process, ensure all project requirements are met, and participate in post-construction reviews.
