Welcome to the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital!

Our 36-bed IMC unit is dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with respiratory, cardiac, and insulin management needs. Here, you’ll work with a skilled team specializing in BiPAP, CPAP, and advanced cardiac drip management—all while transforming lives with every shift.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you’ll :

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with needs ranging from straightforward to highly complex.
  • Identify and address current and potential challenges for specific patient populations.
  • Use critical thinking to analyze changes in patient status and plan effective, timely interventions—directly or through collaboration with colleagues.

    • Qualifications

  • Education :  ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Experience :  Prior clinical nursing experience is a plus.
  • Licensing :  Active MD RN license or Compact State RN license, along with Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers.
