Job descriptionExperienced – 5+ years in accounting with strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills Client-Focused – You love helping people and explaining financial concepts in plain English A Problem Solver – You think critically, adapt quickly, and manage multiple projects smoothly Tech-Savvy – Comfortable using modern software tools and figuring things out on the fly Located within 120 miles of West Fargo, ND – While this is a mostly remote position, occasional in-person meetups are required 90% Remote Work – Flex your skills from home with occasional in-person collaboration Flexible Schedule – 40-hour workweek with “core hours” from 9 AM – 3 PM Wellness Perks – Monthly stipend for coffee, gym, lunch, massages—you choose! What You'll be Doing :
As a Project Accounting Consultant, you’ll play a key role in helping small businesses clean up, catch up, and set up better bookkeeping systems. Your day-to-day may include :
- Leading accounting cleanup, catch-up, and setup projects in QuickBooks Online
- Diagnosing bookkeeping issues and recommending process improvements
- Training clients on accounting best practices and software
- Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality work on time
- Supporting internal improvements and consulting on best practices
