Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe any unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the financial institution. Assist in implementing access control procedures and reporting any security-related incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, observations, and incidents during patrols. Support site-specific protocols, including those related to armed security responsibilities, while upholding Allied Universal standards. Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License. Must be at least 21 years of age. Baton certification is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
