RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process
• Provide quality patient care based on assessment needs and established care plans
• Educate patients and families from admission through discharge process
• Provide thorough, accurate, and legible documentation of nursing processes
• Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status
• Administer medications and perform treatments in a safe, accurate manner
• Implement physician orders as written
• Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care
• Accept responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of appropriate tasks
• Associate degree in nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Valid Ohio nursing license required
• CPR certification required
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
• Must demonstrate problem-solving abilities and handle multiple priorities
• Critical thinking and organizational skills essential
• Must have permanent address 50+ miles away to qualify as traveler
• Physical demands include lifting 20-50 pounds occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently
