Vermilion Association for Special Education Under supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist, the speech-language paraprofessional assists in the screening and provision of services for students with speech-language impairments.

SLPAs must complete an approved training program and be licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR); no Professional Educator License is required at this time.

To be determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. $3,000 sign-on bonus for 3 years of promised services.

Currently, we are filling one positions for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year. The position will also be available for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.
