Description :

This position requires 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience.

Charge experience is preferred.

The unit consists of 13 beds, with additional triage and operating room areas.

The staff includes a mix of certified nurses, certified surgical technologists, and registered nurses, with varying staffing levels depending on census.

Patient ratios are typically 1 : 2 or 1 : 1.

Familiarity with GE electronic fetal monitors and electronic medical records systems such as CPN and Meditech is essential.

Typical procedures performed include inductions and cesarean sections.

An upbeat and positive personality is a best fit for this role.

Weekend shifts and on-call shifts are part of the schedule.

Holiday schedules will be discussed during the interview process.
