Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Tech Campus

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Tech Campus in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. Providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, you will contribute to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate : $21.42 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in a tech, media, or telecom location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible presence.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and guests by providing information and guidance as needed within the location.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Work closely with site personnel and / or first responders to support emergency response activities when required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the client location.

    Minimum Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
