At Engineering Associates, LLC, as an Engineering Field Technician, you'll support the design and implementation of outside plant (OSP) facilities by collecting and documenting critical site information, including measurements and sketches. You will collaborate with design engineers to ensure project specifications are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.

What You'll Do
Locate, sketch and document detailed information of OSP facilities including cables, poles, ground structures, terminals, manholes and equipmentMeasure attachment heights, span distances and structure dimensionsMeasure distances from existing / proposed OSP construction facilitiesTake measurements, field notes, and produce sketches for work orders & required permittingIdentify bonding and ground requirementsCollaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project efficiencyDrive safely, follow company safe driving policies, and ensure all company vehicles and equipment are clean and well-maintainedPerform work in all weather conditionsOther duties as assignedWhat You'll Need
To be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyHigh School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experienceValid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving recordAt least two years related experience and / or trainingKnowledge of
Aerial or underground utilitiesOSP facilities, construction techniques and conduit recordsEasement, right of way and permit documentsPhysical Abilities & Exposures
