Construction Superintendent
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects safely, within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards, while also achieving customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include ensuring job safety by incorporating safety measures into job planning and execution, promoting accountability among staff and subcontractors for project safety policies, maintaining quality control for both company and subcontractor work, developing and implementing pre-job plans, participating in project scheduling, coordinating and supervising the company's workforce, developing Assistant Superintendents, Coordinators, Engineers, Foremen, and craft persons, evaluating, developing, and retaining personnel, coordinating and scheduling all subcontractors, creating forms for detailing and special construction methods, maintaining accurate timekeeping and cost records, analyzing labor recaps and cost controls, expediting vendors and subcontractors, ensuring that received materials are inspected for quantity and quality, reviewing equipment needs with supervisors, participating in Owner / Architect / Contractor meetings, addressing special requirements of customers or neighbors, and maintaining project logs.
Essential Skills include construction management, subcontractor management, project management, experience with data centers, knowledge of fiber optic and copper fiber systems, and experience with low voltage electrical systems. Additional Skills and Qualifications include 3 to 7 years of experience in electrical and low voltage systems, supervision of communications systems installation, supervision of outside / inside plant cabling installation, supervision of structured cabling systems installation, PMP or BICSI - RTPM certification, BICISI Certified Cable Installer, RCDD Registered Communications Distribution Designer, experience as a Security Systems Integrator, Audio Visual Systems Integrator, and Communication Systems Integrator, a Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or business, and professional accreditations such as DBIA, LEED.
The role will involve supporting a large Meta Data Center project, managing or overseeing the installation of low voltage building systems in a dynamic and expansive setting. This is a permanent position based out of Montgomery, AL. The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00 / yr.
