Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to :

• Serve as a technical tax resource for State and Local Taxes on M&A transactions, including tax structuring and tax due diligence (Tax Transaction Advisory Services) services.
• Deliver state and local compliance services and value-added consulting solutions to our clients through work on multi-state income tax, franchise tax, sales and use tax, gross receipts tax, and property tax matters.
• Technical application on a variety of buy and sell side transactions, including the State and Local tax implications of tax structuring projects, tax modeling of after-tax proceeds, review of transactions, and tax due diligence.
• Assist with the implementation of tax planning opportunities in the SALT area identified during diligence and manage any findings identified.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff in the advancement of their individual skills and competencies.
• Develop and execute a practice development plan including networking, new client development, and client expansion activities.

Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO, IL, or MA. Please review theposition location for theapplicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range for their position, as compensation decisions are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to : responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer market-based starting salaries that are consistent across individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.

The compensation range for this role in IL, MA or CO is : $117,000.00 - $198,500.00
