OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

Patient care is a priority and our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader who truly cares about the underserved patient population. We are not looking for an individual who is just looking for their next "job" but someone who wants to invest in a career and a hospital OT program. Education of the patient is a priority in helping them realize how their body will react to treatment and how they can best help themselves once they leave the hospital. At our hospital, Acute Care Therapists are seen as Clinical Experts and have a huge voice in what direction to take each patient. We are looking for patient advocates and someone that is confident in their ability to meet the needs of each family.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters or Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• New Mexico license or ability to obtain
• Acute Care experience preferred
• Open to New Grads and Experienced Therapists
• Must be detail oriented but also able to see the big picture
• Excellent communication skills across all levels
• Collaborative, team building personality style
• Servant leader mindset
