We are currently seeking a talented Systems Engineer - Integration and Testing Specialist to support our premier programs in the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business unit. Your expertise in developing plans, troubleshooting, and collaborative integration efforts will be invaluable in our Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) team.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers to deliver innovative ground systems solutions.
  • Engage in integration and testing activities as part of an Agile Release Train (ART) team.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during software and hardware integration.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software-related issues.
  • Contribute to the Agile program environment.

Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in systems integration and testing for software products in an Agile, CI / CD environment.
  • Proven experience in Integration and Test engineering.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for software-based systems.
  • Proficiency in Linux Red Hat, Python, and / or Perl.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in Satellite Ground System development or operations.
  • Familiarity with ground station and satellite operations, including networking and command / telemetry.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
  • Experience in Test Automation (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher).
  • Familiarity with programming in Java, C++, Python, as well as Cloud environments; AWS certification is a plus.

    Note : This role requires onsite work at our facility in Aurora, CO. As part of our secure hiring process, candidates may be required to attend parts of the interview process in person.

    The salary range for this role is $66,000 - $130,000, based on overall experience and qualifications. RTX considers various factors when extending offers, including role responsibilities, work experience, and education. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, and paid time off, depending on the specific business unit.
