• Ability to work every other weekend, totaling 6 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule

Description :

Emergency Room Registered Nurse position available.

Orientations occur every Monday.

This position requires a night shift of 3x12 hours.

The ideal candidate should have a patient ratio experience of 1 : 4-6.

The following skills are required : General Emergency Department experience for both adults and pediatrics, conscious sedation, telemetry, and management of ventilated patients.

Experience with the Cerner charting system is mandatory.

Required certifications include ACLS, BCLS, CPI, NIHSS, and PALS.

Weekend coverage is required, with shifts on Friday and Saturday nights.

The facility treats a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily census in the unit averages around 120 patients, with 30 rooms and 44 beds available.

Interdisciplinary support is provided by physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and more.

The position may require managing patients with traumatic injuries, mental health conditions, and various emergency situations.

Candidates must be prepared to deliver care in a fast-paced environment while applying clinical skills effectively.
