Major tasks, responsibilities, and key accountabilities include : operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, loading and unloading merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks, lifting and reserving pallets of merchandise, transporting merchandise, material and pallets safely throughout the club, stocking, rotating, and storing general merchandise and food merchandise, ensuring the club is neat, clean, and organized, participating in daily club openings and closings, greeting all members, maintaining all club policies and procedures, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include : at least 18 years of age, prior forklift operating experience preferred, and must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Environmental job conditions include : most of the time is spent standing, and moving about continuously on hard surfaces, frequently lifting objects up to 30 pounds, usually in a comfortable environment surrounded by moving machinery and / or loud equipment that may require shouting in order to be heard, occasional exposure to temperature extremes in freezer or cooler units, and occasional exposure to cleaning agents.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $16.75.
