Entry Level Drafter / Designer

dub studios is a architectural firm located in West Los Angeles, CA specializing in high-end residential design and small commercial renovations. We are an ideas-driven firm that holds creativity and attention to detail as vital to our practice.

We are in need of an entry-level drafter / designer at our west LA office to assist in drafting and production for several projects currently underway.

Compensation to be discussed, and based upon performance & experience. We are looking for a 3rd / 4th-Year B. Arch student willing to commit to part-time work (20 to 25 hours / week) for the summer term or a part-time position for a recent Architectural BS / BA graduate. The position has the potential to become full-time / continuing based on job performance and firm work load.

Responsibilities

• Work in phases from design development through construction administration
• Assist in detailed construction drawings and drawing set development - Work will primarily be 2D computer drafting.
• Preparation of presentation images and renderings
• Development of specifications, materials, and finishes
