Westaff is hiring an HR / Administrative Assistant for an office located in Broussard, La.
This position requires strong attention to detail as well as the ability to multi-task in a high traffic office.
Pay : $16.00 / Hour
Hours : Monday – Friday 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm
Responsibilities :
- Discuss positions with applicants & onboard Associates
- Verify I9’s
- Answer multiple phone lines while assisting walk in’s
- Correspond in multiple systems
- Communicate via help desk tickets with the corporate office
- Heavy data entry & documentation for Client’s & Associate’s
- Create job postings and search for qualified candidates by skill, pay rate or prior companies worked at to deliver similar skill sets
- Schedule interviews
- Conduct intake meetings, debrief meetings, coordinate offer approvals, and extend offers
- Make Sales calls to prospects
- Text interview & new hire reminders
- Issue 3rd party pay cards, counsel associates on company policies, insurance eligibility
- Inform of free online schooling for associates on assignment with Westaff for those interested
- Scan & Upload paperwork
- Obtain 150+ timecards for various offices.
- Send Reference & assessment links
- Troubleshoot application issues
- Handle employee resignation & terminations via Client or Associate request
- Notify Clients of associate’s late arrivals, vacation or time off request provide Clients with excuses as requested
Qualifications :
5+ years’ experience in an administrative roleClear understanding of HR protocols as well as legal verbiageMust be proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.Must have excellent Customer Service skillsThis is a LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY – APPLY TODAY!
