Job description

Job Title : Front-End Developer

Department : Development

Reports To : Lead Developer

Position Overview : We're seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on the front-end aspects of our Omni Lightning platform, integrating new features and enhancing our user interface. This role involves problem-solving, creativity, and a strong understanding of front-end development principles.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work on enhancing the front-end features of our Omni Lightning platform to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI / UX designs.
  • Collaborate with the back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services.
  • Innovate and develop new ideas and features for the Omni Lightning platform to continuously improve our product offering.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a smooth user experience.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in front-end development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with other departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and come up with new ideas for product features.

    • Key Performance Indicators :

    The performance of the Front-End Developer will be measured based on the following KPIs :

  • Number of new UI / UX enhancements and features.
  • Development of new internal features for the Omni Lightning platform.
  • Creation of new external features for the Omni Lightning platform.
  • Efficiency in project completion times.
  • Achievement of departmental objectives ("rocks").
  • Demonstration of the company's core values.
