Job Summary :We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive General Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive systems, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction. In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that our customers’ vehicles are safe and reliable.
Key Responsibilities :Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks.installing tiresConduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the garage and work areas.Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and regulations.Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.Stay updated on automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous training and education.Qualifications :High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in automotive technology preferred.Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive service or a similar role.Knowledge of automotive systems, repair techniques, and diagnostic tools.ASE certification(s) is a plus but not required.Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Benefits :Competitive salary based on experience.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional development and certification.Employee discounts on services and products.How to Apply :Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume and a cover letter outlining their qualifications to powersferry@dwcampbelltire.com.
