Deputy Construction Manager (DCM)

ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui, and North American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. The Deputy Construction Manager (DCM) plays a critical role in the successful execution of day-to-day construction activities on the project. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth field operations, adhering to the project schedule, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The DCM works closely with on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to drive performance and resolve field-level challenges while reporting to the Construction Manager.

Responsibilities

Field Execution & Operations :

• Lead and manage daily construction operations, ensuring work progresses efficiently and aligns with the project schedule.
• Directly oversee field activities, work sequences, and on-site personnel, including Superintendents, Field Engineers, and craft workers.
• Address real-time challenges related to manpower, equipment, materials, and site logistics.
