Recruit and schedule staff for each camp, ensuring that staff is adequate to take care of camper’s needs
Recruit, invite and schedule campers for each camp sessionOrganize paperwork ensuring that med sheets are accurate, and all forms are signedEstablish a theme; plan menu, craft projects, activities and schedule for each camp sessionPurchase food and supplies for each camp, communicate with cooks and nurses to find out what is neededMaintain an inventory of supplies and purchase as needed.Conduct orientation and training for all staff.Evaluate each camp session through personal observation and feedback from campers and staff.Promote camp program by contacting other agencies, organizations and individuals and providing informationSpeak before groups to promote attendance, volunteering, and support for campPrepare social media posts regarding camp and send to Director of Events and Marketing to approveRentalsSchedule rental contracts and follow through to see that renter’s needs are met
Provide tours for rentals if needed.Communicate with other team members about rentals.Volunteer CoordinationRecruiting, interviewing, and onboarding volunteers.
Placing volunteers in different roles based on their qualifications.Maintaining accurate volunteer records.Coordinating training courses for all volunteersPromoting volunteer services in the community for recruitment and retention.MiscellaneousPerform any other duties as asked by the Executive Director
