About the Opportunity

Henry Ford Genesys is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a busy, employed surgery group . This position includes coverage for Henry Ford hospitals in Michigan and is supported by a robust referral network of primary and specialty care physicians.

Position Highlights  Clinical Focus :

Primary responsibilities are clinical , with opportunities for clinical research based on the candidates area of interest.

  • Perform all aspects of cardiac (excluding transplant), thoracic, TAVR , and multidisciplinary procedures using advanced tools such as the DaVinci XI Robot .

    • Volume :

    Previously averaging 200 cardiac and 180 thoracic surgeries annually .

    Programmatic Excellence :

    Work with a supportive team focused on quality outcomes and programmatic growth.

    • Qualifications

  • Completion of training in an accredited Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship program .
  • Board Certified in General Surgery and Board Eligible / Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery .
  • Experience with robotic-assisted surgery is a plus.
  • Meets requirements for Michigan medical licensure .
