We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the Vice President, Finance & Controller position, joining our Nottingham, PA team!

• SCHEDULE : Monday-Friday approximately 40+ hours a week

Position Summary

The Vice President, Finance and Controller, is a forward-thinking leader, responsible for all aspects of accounting operations, financial reporting and internal controls of Herr Foods, Inc. (Herr’s).  This position sets the broader accounting and financial policies for Herr’s, ensuring financial integrity and compliance.  This position will work alongside the CFO in developing financial strategies focused on the long-term sustainability and financial health of Herr’s.  This position will establish and guide the effective reporting of financial results, helping provide the organization, leaders and Board with financial information that will drive strategy, decision making and financial compliance.  This position will be responsible for developing and executing successful treasury, risk management and internal audit programs. The Vice President, Finance and Controller is a key leader at Herr’s who will build strong and productive relationships across the organization, acting as a true partner and ensuring strong representation of the accounting function to the Herr’s executive leadership team, Board and Risk Committee.

Reporting to the CFO, the Vice President, Finance and Controller will lead a team that is responsible for Accounts Payable, Credit and Collections, Payroll, Tax, Accounting Close and Reporting, Treasury, Risk Management, and Internal Audit.  The Vice President, Finance and Controller will manage the Accounting Team of approximately 25 members, including 3-4 direct reports.

The role will be based at Herr’s headquarters in Nottingham, PA, and allows for a hybrid working environment, with 3 days required on-site.
