Gastroenterology Physician

Requirements : South Carolina License, DEA, must be certified in Gastro Client Description : well-known hospital system

• Location : Florence, SC
• Requirements : SC license, Active DEA, BE / BC
• Schedule : Starts at 8 am on Friday and Ends at 6 pm Sunday
• Work week : hospital coverage over the weekend
• This is for inpatient consults, rounding and procedures. Usually 2-5 procedures a day on the weekends, sometimes less.
• The number of inpatients to round can be anywhere from 10-25 patients daily, depending on the GI patient census. The physicians are consulting only, no admissions. Most of the patients are admitted by the hospitalist. Even the transfers are admitted by the hospitalist.
• Duration : January 1 target start date - ongoing locums (no end date)
• Compensation : Competitive, negotiable
