Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including tracking invoices, making timely payments, obtaining approvals, and preparing reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain complex reports including the weekly cash report and special project reports
- Provide multi-faceted support to the Investment and Operations teams, including generating reports/schedules as assigned and preparing ad hoc analysis
- Maintain a calendar of renewal and payment dates for insurance policies; Work with internal and external personnel to ensure appropriate coverage and no lapses
- Reconcile trades made in our public trading portfolio to verify they are in compliance with approval parameters
- Continuous and active monitoring of specified critical items as designated by Westwind Management
- Maintain and actively monitor a calendar of all vehicle registration dates to ensure timely renewals
- Prepare monthly credit card reports summarizing charges by entity and account
- Assist with researching and executing organizational and process efficiency opportunities
- Take ownership of special projects as assigned, seeing the project through fruition
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Two-year degree Associates
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, preferred but not required
- Accounts Payable experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving entrepreneurial environment where multi-tasking is the norm
- Diligent work ethic with the ability to quickly learn and work independently
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Curious and resourceful with a natural ability to solve problems and seek new information
