Security Officer - Front Desk Specialist

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Specialist in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors and employees. You will manage access control, monitor badge activity, and provide exceptional customer service at the main entry point. By remaining attentive and responsive, you will help to deter security-related incidents while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. Pay Rate : $22.59 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Tue 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Wed 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Thur 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Fri 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor registration to help to deter unauthorized entry at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and / or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk, serving as a point of contact for inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
  • Document observations and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
