Job Title : IT Technical Specialist – SAP OTC
Location : Onsite in Waukegan, IL
Period : 03 / 31 / 2025 to 03 / 31 / 2026
Hours / Week : 40 hours – Hours over 40 will be paid at time and a half
Rate : $85 – $100 / hour
Contract Type : W-2 only, no visa sponsorships or subcontracting
Scope of Services :
The IT Technical Specialist will provide in-depth technical expertise and direction in the development and support of client area application systems / programming requirements and processes, including new developments, enhancements, or maintenance. This will involve preparing application system specifications, as well as the development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost-effective application solutions. The role will focus specifically on SAP OTC (Sales and Distribution, Pricing, Intercompany Billing, Shipping, Logistics, Transportation, Order Fulfillment, and FSCM).
The IT Technical Specialist will collaborate with external partners and suppliers, and will be responsible for leading Requirements Gathering Workshops for project scoping and estimates. The individual will be expected to execute highly complex and specialized global projects, adapting existing precedents and approaches to develop solutions as necessary.
This role requires compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. The IT Technical Specialist will be responsible for technical configuration / code reviews, solution testing, user training, and hypercare support. The role may also lead projects and technical staff to develop, test, and implement significant new solutions or improvements, or devise new approaches to complex problems. Additionally, the Specialist will investigate and research new technologies and provide technical advice regarding the adoption or integration of these technologies.
