HR Generalist / Recruiter
Location : Sterling, MA
Compensation :
- Base salary range : $60,000–$80,000 depending on experience and certification.
- Candidates without SHRM certification : Base salary closer to $60,000 with uncapped bonus structure for successful internal placements.
- Candidates with SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification : Competitive salary within full range.

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized HR Generalist / Recruiter to join our growing dental service organization based in Sterling, MA. This individual will play a critical role in driving recruitment , managing onboarding and offboarding processes , overseeing performance management initiatives , and ensuring HR compliance across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have prior recruiting experience and a strong understanding of HR best practices, metrics, and reporting. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys both strategic and hands-on HR work.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for clinical, administrative, and operational roles across multiple practices.Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, post openings, and screen candidates effectively.Coordinate and oversee all onboarding and offboarding activities , ensuring a positive and compliant employee experience.Support performance management programs, including goal setting, evaluations, and employee development initiatives.Maintain compliance with all state and federal employment regulations and internal HR policies.Generate HR reports and metrics to support leadership decisions, including turnover, hiring timelines, and employee engagement insights.Assist with employee relations issues, investigations, and corrective action in partnership with leadership.Continuously improve recruitment strategies and candidate experience to support growth and retention.Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of HR or recruiting experience , preferably within healthcare or dental environments.Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee lifecycle management, and performance development.Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS).SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly encouraged.Compensation Structure :
