Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with active Oregon licensure for a flexible day shift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
  • Day Shift Flex schedule
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Cares for patients in pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I and II, and provides procedural sedation
  • Monitors local-only patients in the OR
  • Utilizes the nursing process and established standards of care to provide quality perioperative nursing
  • Acts as patient advocate and directs or supervises assigned personnel
  • Supports the hospital's mission, vision, values, and policies

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active Oregon RN license
  • Minimum of 3 years RN experience required
  • Must be able to participate in regular on-call rotation for the PACU
